Hi, I'm Joe!
I'm currently a Senior Product Manager at Netcompany, a Danish technology and consulting firm. I work with UK government clients to make products and services that actually work for people and organisations. I'm a former civil servant, and before that I worked for IBM iX.
On the side, I make tools and frameworks that help people do better work - things like BIG ROCKS (a roadmapping tool that forces focus). I write about product management, strategy, and the unglamorous infrastructure that makes teams effective.
I'm originally from Sussex but currently live in West Yorkshire - just on the edge of the beautiful Pennines - with my wife, our toddler and rescue dog. I'm a keen runner and reader with a lapsed drawing habit and a love of coffee.
